About

My name's Wally, an engineer by trade who enjoys 3D printing on the side. Whenever there is a special occasion, I like to give my friends and family gifts that they'll remember, and for the past couple of years, I've been working on perfecting a custom-designed completely 3D printed lamp, which can transform any 5 images of your choosing, into a beautifully unique statement piece.

The images are made visible using a process called lithography, which in layman's terms, interprets the light and dark portions of an image as variable wall thickness in a 3D model. With recent advancements in 3D printing, very realistic looking images can be produced by printing thousands of layers. The process is still relatively slow, with around 15 total hours go into printing the enclosure and 5 lithophane panels.

Despite the time involved, I keep making these because people seem to love them. So, I figured I'd open up my services to anyone who needs a quick, cheap, and truly unique gift. Can't wait to get started for you!
